Practice makes perfect!

Evie has been learning to use utensils while she eats and it has been quite a messy process! I think more of her yogurt ended up on her than in her mouth this morning!

Destin

Destin...... FUN, quiet, RELAXING, good company, yummy SEAFOOD, lots of SLEEP, and a MUCH needed vacation from the BUSYNESS of home. Need I say more?

Visitors from up north

My good friend Kendra and her family came down for a visit to Texas from Wisconsin a few weeks ago. Unfortunately we didn't get to hang out much but I was so glad to see her for the short time. We went to Jack Carter Pool with her daughter Macie and then Pierce also came along to play. It was lots of fun but HOT!

We went out to Babe's Chicken for dinner with the Mccords and the Halls--YUM! We miss you guys and hope to visit you soon!

A lttle hose fun

Evie loves to play in our backyard baby pool and has recently discovered the HOSE! She loves to hold it, spray the water, and even drink from it. So much fun!

Stuck

So on our way to Evie's one year appointment about a month ago, Evie started crying in the back seat. I looked back to see what was the matter and she had her foot stuck in a book! Her cry quickly became a scream and I felt so bad for her but was kinda laughing at the same time! We got to the doctor's office and I of course "rescued" her foot from the "foot-eating" book!

Lake Travis

A few weekends ago we went to my Sister-in-laws parents lake house at Lake Travis. It was so much fun and relaxing. They have a gorgeous lake house and recently just added a pool and baby area so it was perfect for Evie to play in. We mostly relaxed at the pool all day but also took out the boat and jet skis. It was so much fun and I hope to be invited back soon :)!

 Well it is supposed to be an infiniti pool, but the lake was SO LOW that is wasn't quite one...but still beautiful!

 Well Evie lasted almost an hour on the boat but was pretty unhappy in her life jacket so we cut the boat trip short
